MON 27 JUNE 2016-
PLEASE SIGN & SHARE THE 3 AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL PETITIONS & THE OTHER PETITIONS BELOW FOR ALI AL-NIMR (PRO-DEMOCRACY PROTESTER), WALEED ABU AL-KHAIR (HUMAN RIGHTS LAWYER WHO WAS DEFENDING RAIF BADAWI) & ASHRAF FAYADH (A POET WHO FILMED SAUDI RELIGIOUS POLICE BRUTALITY). THE OPPRESSIVE & THEOCRATIC SAUDI ARABIAN GOVERNMENT HAVE PUT THESE 3 PEOPLE IN JAIL & WANT TO MURDER THEM (EITHER BY BEHEADING &/OR CRUCIFIXION). THEY ARE NOT CRIMINALS, THEY ARE JUST FREE THINKERS.
IRAN IS ALSO DETAINING THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCATES IN AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP ITS HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES UNDER THE RUG. PLEASE SIGN THE BELOW AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL PETITION FOR NARGES MOHAMMADI.
AND, OF COURSE, NEVER FORGET OR STOP SUPPORTING RAIF BADAWI! ANOTHER VICTIM OF THE HEINOUS SAUDI REGIME!
WALEED ABU AL-KHAIR:
AND THE ONES BELOW…
AND THE ONES BELOW…
This site is a place for me to write about the situations I have experienced, the topics I am passionate about and the mundane occurrences of day to day life that drive me up the wall.
I am a 30-year-old woman and I currently live in my home city of Brisbane, QLD, Australia. I have started a law degree this year (2016) and I will be looking to pick electives in employment law and environmental law.
Below are some topics/issues I hope to cover on this site:
Domestic and international politics; issues facing human, animal, and environmental rights including long-term, sustainable practices such as reducing our individual carbon footprints and moving away from fossil fuels to renewable energies; issues around the dangers of religious indoctrination; ethics and philosophy; all different fields of science; industrial relations and employment law; visual and performing arts and funny anecdotal stories.
Note: If you are offended by salty language than best avert your eyes from some of my posts. I don’t use non-stop profanity in my posts, but I am certainly not afraid to use the ‘f’ word, and at times, the ‘c-bomb’ if I am really worked up about something. I usually do put a language warning on the posts that need it but fair warning, read my posts at your own discretion 🙂
